Dougga

An archaeological site founded by the Romans, located in the northwest of Tunisia. Listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, it consists of several historic monuments (theater, arches, sculptures, museum) and which is considered to be one of the very rare examples of royal Numidian architecture.

Some Highlights:	We will start with a guided tour of the archaeological site of Dougga. We will also visit the impressive Dougga theater. We will observe the influence of Rome at the foot of the Capitol of Dougga We will observe the remarkable Roman mosaics which decorate the thermal baths of the site. One hour of free time for lunch.
